Wings of Legacy

The rooms that shape careers
go to the same people.
We are changing that.

The introductions, the conversations, the moments that open doors — they travel through networks most people never get near. Wings of Legacy puts you in those rooms. Through live programming, curated events, and research into how professional environments actually work.

Elevate — Capital & Access

One hour with someone
who knows how it works

Each Elevate session brings a senior operator onto LinkedIn Live for an hour. Venture capital, fund formation, early-stage company building. No inspiration. A clear look at how decisions get made, where access sits, and what most people getting into this industry have completely wrong.

Every session ends with the same question: what determines who gets the opportunity to build, and who does not?

Research

We are mapping
what nobody writes down

Wings of Legacy runs research into how professional environments work, what moves people forward, and what holds them back. The findings shape what we build next.

Our current survey is open to women in professional environments across the US. It takes five minutes.

83%
say professional environments do not deliver what they promise
72%
want access to senior people who actually engage
91%
say the most important thing missing is the right people in the room

Elevate — A Wings of Legacy Series

How capital moves.
Who gets to build.

A LinkedIn Live series with senior operators in venture capital, fund formation, and early-stage company building. One hour. One conversation. The version of how this industry works that nobody puts in a brochure.

DC Palter — Startup Founder, Angel Investor & Mentor

Most founders treat venture capital as the default. DC Palter makes the case that it usually isn't. This session looks at when VC is the right tool, when it costs you more than it gives you, and what the decision actually changes beyond the cap table.

Bobbie Carlton — Founder, Innovation Women, Innovation Nights & Carlton PR

Bobbie Carlton built three companies before taking a single pound of outside money. This session covers what that looks like in practice, why community is infrastructure, and how you make yourself fundable on your own terms.

Early Pathways
Breakfast

During UN General Assembly Week, 75 early-career women sit down with senior leaders across technology, finance, governance, communications, venture capital, and public affairs. No panels. No keynotes. Breakfast and a real conversation.

About the morning

The conversation at your table is the programme

Most professional events put senior people on a stage and everyone else in rows. The Early Pathways Breakfast puts you at the same table. Small groups, a relaxed morning, and senior leaders who are there because they want to be in the room with you.

The access you get on 10 September usually takes years to find your way into. That gap is what Wings of Legacy exists to close.

All tickets are non-refundable. By registering, you confirm you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions.

About Wings of Legacy

It is not about capability.
It is about who is in the room.

The industries that are hardest to break into do not run purely on merit. They run on who knows you, who backs you, who puts you in front of the right person at the right time. That knowledge travels between people who already have access to each other. Wings of Legacy is built to change that.

What we do

Wings of Legacy runs Elevate, a LinkedIn Live series where senior operators in venture, fund formation, and company building talk openly about how access and capital actually work. We run Visibility Sessions, in-person gatherings that put early-career women in direct conversation with senior leaders. In September 2026, both come together at the Early Pathways Breakfast in New York during UN General Assembly Week.

We also run ongoing research into the barriers and informal mechanics that shape who gets ahead. Everything we learn goes back into what we build.

How we are funded

Wings of Legacy is a commercially sustainable platform. Events are ticketed. Institutional partners make it possible to keep ticket prices at a level that does not exclude the people we are here to serve.

Partners do not touch what we programme, who we invite, or what our research finds. That line does not move.
